This modern country home was built by ourselves five years ago. We are within walking distance to the Black Horse pub and Hilltop restaurant. The kitchen / dining room is our favourite part of the house, which opens onto the patio affording views over surrounding landscape, which is perfect for entertaining. We have friendly neighbours, and as a family are involved in a number of the village social events. We both work from home, so is great to have plenty of public footpaths on our doorstep, which are perfect for exploring the local area when we need a break from the screen. Whenever we do need to commute, or travel for meetings there are good train links all around, including Ebbsfleet International, plus we're only five to ten minutes from the M25. For shopping we can easily get to Bluewater, Thurrock, Sevenoaks and even London.
