Our home provides us with the perfect balance of countryside living and privacy, but is still within easy reach of the surrounding towns. We are on the edge of the village whilst being only a five-minute walk from both the main line train station and the local Co-op, this really means you can have the best of both worlds. A five-minute walk in the other direction and you can be in ancient woodland admiring the bluebells in spring or exploring the network of public footpaths, including the North Downs Way. We will certainly miss our Sunday afternoon walks from the house.The layout of the house has been ideal for us as a family our master bedroom is spacious, whilst the other four double bedrooms are evenly sized, great for avoiding arguments among the children! We have a picturesque outlook from the front of the house, while we are not overlooked to the rear, and our south-facing garden has been a lovely space for entertaining. Inside, the house has always had a cosy feel and we have loved the double-sided fireplace between the lounge and dining room, especially at Christmas! We did have plans to convert part of the workshop into a study, accessed from the lounge, so this remains an option!
