4 bed Detached House
Bombay Crab, Deal
*UNDERGONE MANY IMPROVEMENTS*
This fantastic detached family home, which we believe to date back to 1912 would be excellent for a growing family or someone looking to commute back to London.
The property is thought to be one of the first homes built on Telegraph Road and was built for a Sailor who often frequented Bombay. Since then, the property has undergone many improvements by the current owners including extending the living accommodation and adding a large modern conservatory to the rear. There is still ample room to extend the property further (subject to the relevant planning consents) if someone required any more room. It is also within walking distance to Walmer Train Station which has High Speed Links to London.
In its current layout the property comprises of on the ground floor of a lounge with a bay window and open fireplace, a sitting room with another open fireplace and having French doors to the large conservatory. There is a fitted kitchen which opens to the sun room which is currently being used as a dining room. Additionally on the ground floor there is a W.C.
The first floor comprises of four double bedrooms and a spacious family bathroom. There is also the added benefit of en-suite shower room to the master bedroom.
To the rear of the property is a large garden which is mainly laid to lawn with patio areas, a shed and a pond. To the front and side of the property is a driveway providing ample off street parking, the property also boasts a garage.

The Vendor's View
Living within walking distance of Walmer and Deal is perfect for us. The town is a cinque port and boasts being home to two of Henry VIII castles. It provides all we need; there is a great mix of independent shops, restaurants and bars. We enjoy having a seafront stroll or walking in the nearby countryside, whilst having easy access to main roads and the train station for connections out of the area. There are no houses opposite us, so you have a feeling of space before you ve even stepped foot inside. We love the welcoming and family atmosphere of our home, there is plenty of space for anyone who visits. The rooms have high ceilings and original features and we benefit from plenty of versatility across our home. Our family barbecues and parties are always enjoyable, especially with the two living rooms and conservatory that makes hosting easy we have comfortably accommodated our large family of 17 for Sunday dinner. The outside spaces feel a real part of the home too, we love the flow through to our lovely garden from the conservatory. We have renovated many elements of our home, so this is a property you can move straight in to, but there is still further potential for adapting the spaces. We will miss everything about living here when we come to leave. We are looking to downsize in the area as we love the location.
