The Vendor's View

We were first drawn to the property s proximity to school and town, which meant there would be less need to use the car. We liked the fact that the house was low maintenance and was ideal to just lock-up and leave, as we like to travel. We love the first floor s formal area. This was originally two rooms so we took out a wall, removed the carpet and put down timber veneer floor boards. I also love the wall colours we chose for the formal area and kitchen/living area; originally everything was white. We are also very pleased with the white shutters we had installed throughout the property which are classy and avoid the need for curtains and blinds, which I personally don t like as I find they often clash with furnishings. Within our row of terrace houses, everyone is very friendly and considerate. Canterbury has everything you could possibly need, and the Marlowe theatre is only a five minute walk, while the centre of town is around 10 minutes. Our children attended the King s school which was also a ten minute walk away. The river runs on two sides of the estate and is very pleasant to walk along. The construction of the property is excellent and the double glazing makes it very warm in the winter. We will miss being in such a lovely location so close to Canterbury.
