Our home is set in a good location, we are only a five-minute walk from Walmer station, a 15-minute walk from the beach and we have easy access to two schools. The nearby local convenience stores are handy for picking up supplies, while a short drive to Deal provides us with the main shops. We often hop on the train into Deal if we are having an evening out, which takes five minutes.This is a generously-sized detached house, with five very large bedrooms and six bathrooms/toilets we have lived here as a family and it has been brilliant. There has been plenty of space for everyone, no-one has had to share a bedroom and we have always had lots of visitors over the years. The house is set over three floors, the top floor has two bedrooms, a large landing and its own bathroom, so it provides the feeling of being self-contained. We have plenty of versatility to the rooms downstairs, the large sitting room and dining room are perfect for entertaining, while we love having the option of less formal dining in the kitchen/diner. There are also two conservatories, one of which we use as a gym. We have enjoyed spending time in our private, south-facing garden, especially with our hot tub on the patio. It is mainly laid to lawn and was brilliant for the children when they were small.We are going to stay in Deal as we love living here, but we are simply downsizing it will be sad to leave behind our lovely family home.
