Located on the Kent coast, Ramsgate has become the home of café culture on the Isle of Thanet. With award winning beaches and connections to the continent by sea, rail and air, it has become one of the hot places to buy in the county. This coastal town is just over an hour and a quarter by train from central London using the High Speed trains which launched in December 2009.

Kent International Airport is located on the outskirts of the town in Manston, and a cross channel ferry operates to Belgium from the harbour.

Ramsgate town centre is a mix of small shops and supermarkets, and Westwood Cross is only 10 minutes drive from the town. It also has a lively evening scene, with a number of top restaurants in town, and the harbour has a good collection of stylish bars and clubs.
